The Center for Legal and Psychosocial Orientation and Care (CALP) of CHS Alternativo accompanies the victims and refers them to the relevant state institutions in the cases of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, child labor, forced labor and any other situation of human exploitation.

The attention is free, thanks to the help fund for victims of the institution. It is also done confidentially and in a climate of protection for victims and their families. In this sense, the intervention is longitudinal in nature and displays various actions to ensure, among other things, access to health, safe housing, coverage of basic needs and, according to the evaluation of each particular case, the financing of the return to their place of origin. Among the main dangers to which victims are exposed after being rescued are: stigmatization, discrimination and revictimization.

Being aware of this reality and having the necessary experience to understand it, CHS Alternativo has managed to expand the standards in the accompaniment provided to victims and their families during this process.

On the other hand, the CALP seeks to establish agreements with institutions that work on mental health issues and perform long-term therapies to ensure that they receive the necessary care in the appropriate health facilities for their recovery, which in many cases leads to psychiatric sessions or psychological for long periods of time.
